ID verification on every account
Every renter and owner is required to verify their identity with a government-issued ID and a selfie before they can book or get paid. Verification is automated and usually completes in under a minute.
Refundable security deposits
Each listing carries a deposit set by the owner. We place a temporary authorization hold on the renter's card at checkout. If the gear comes back as it left, the hold is released automatically.
Damage handling, made fair
Owners can submit a damage claim within 48 hours of return with photos and a repair estimate. Renters can dispute it. Our team mediates and applies the deposit accordingly.
Two-way reviews
After every rental, owners and renters review each other. Repeat bad actors are removed. High-rated owners get featured placement.
Signed rental agreements
Every booking is governed by a signed rental agreement, liability waiver, and cancellation policy. PDFs are stored and downloadable from your dashboard.
